iTrust Monthly Update 001
Fellow iTrusters,
Firstly, thank you for your support of the iTrust project to date. We have achieved so much since launch — just over one month ago, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
In this, the first of our post-launch monthly round-up, we would like to update you on the progress the project has made since launch and give you some hints about some exciting upcoming plans.
Working product on Day one
Delivering on our promises from day one, our revolutionary staking app https://app.itrust.finance/ was launched on the very same day that our TGE concluded. Since then over 50,000 $NXM have been staked on the platform.
Indeed, early stakers have already received Nexus, $IDLE and $BOND Shield Mining and bonus $ITG rewards — with plenty more to come!
As a reminder, the first release of our platform offers:
- Easy staking of $NXM and $wNXM
- A choice of 2 vaults, to suit the user’s risk appetite
- Automatic reward accrual — no more lost rewards!
- Gas savings — withdraw rewards at a time that suits you.
- Nexus rewards + Shield Mining rewards + bonus $ITG rewards
- Easy unstaking and reward withdrawal
We’ve been delighted at the positive feedback we’ve received from the Nexus Mutual community thus far, not least from Founder Hugh Karp during our AMA; “Delegated staking is certainly one of the features we’ve been asked for the most since we’ve launched. It helps to connect different market participants (more passive NXM holders, with staking experts) and helps the Nexus protocol allocate stake and capacity more efficiently.” He said.
But this is only the beginning. After our successful onboarding of $NXM and $wNXM stakers, more protocols and staking options will be added — making iTrust your one-stop-shop for DeFi insurance staking.
Drenched in gains — The Blue Lagoon Partnership Pool

The integration marks a major breakthrough for the cryptocurrency industry as it breaks down multiple barriers to insurance adoption, opening the doors to a new wave of users seeking an easy way to protect their assets whilst earning the high yields on offer at Hodlnaut.

Community Building and Competitions
Whilst the crypto markets have endured somewhat of a downturn, we have focused on building — both our solutions, and our community.
As part of our mission to spread the word about iTrust.finance and our governance token $ITG we have:
- Listed $ITG on Uniswap, SushiSwap and Coingecko.
- Conducted multiple AMAs- including a high profile session with Nexus Mutual (you can read the transcript for that AMA here
- Welcomed over 10,000 community members across Twitter, our newly-opened Discord Server and of course, Telegram
- Awarded 1000 $ITG in prizes during our popular Treasure Hunt Competition, highlighting the treasures holders can unlock with their $ITG.
- Launched our cross-DeFi Fantasy Football league, in partnership with InsureAce, Finance.vote, Totem.Fi (and more to come).
What’s next?
There will be plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks for iTrust community members and $ITG holders alike, including:
